Grammy Awards: de winnaars

Afgelopen nacht werden in Los Angeles de Grammy Awards uitgereikt, de Oscars van de muziekindustrie. En er vielen enkele verrassende namen uit de bus. Zo won het countrytrio Lady Antebellum maar liefst 5 prijzen, waaronder de awards voor Beste Single en Beste Song (Need You Now), werd Justin Bieber gepasseerd in de categorie Beste Nieuwkomer (Esperanza Spalding ging met de prijs lopen), ging de award voor beste album naar Arcade Fire (The Suburbs) en sleepte superfavoriet Eminem ‘slechts’ twee prijzen in de wacht.

 

Lady Gaga won drie awards, waaronder die voor beste popalbum, net zoals rapper Jay-Z en soulzanger John Legend. U vindt het overzicht hieronder, gevolg door de nogal platte single Need You Now.
